Product Description

This magnificent ring centers a 5.46 carat radiant-cut diamond and four trapezoid diamond sidestones on a 950 platinum band. These are beautiful GIA certified diamonds, with a minimum VS2 clarity and a total combined weight of 7.69 carats. With a color grading of G, they are in the uppermost range of near-colorless and appear dazzling white in the setting. The diamonds are mounted in secure four-prong basket settings that allow plenty of light to filter through their facets, enhancing their sparkle and fire.

The square radiant cut exhibited by the center diamond is quite dramatic. It combines the step-cutting and trimmed corners of an emerald-cut diamond with some of the triangular faceting of the brilliant cut for an impressive sparkle.

The setting and band are made from gleaming 950 platinum, the most rare of all precious metals, and the ideal choice for showcasing diamonds because of its superior strength and durability. Unlike other jewelry metals, platinum will not chip easily or wear down over time, and it never needs replating. Its gorgeous white sheen is rich and luxurious and can be easily maintained with just an occasional cleaning and polish. Platinum has a substantial feel and is slightly heavier than gold. It's also hypoallergenic, and therefore perfectly suited to those with metal sensitivities.

This bold and beautiful ring makes an extraordinary gift. It comes packaged in a luxury finished-wood box and includes a GIA certificate.

"This is what a woman needs." 2010-04-05
By Terence M. Cogswell (Los Angeles, CA, USA)
When I first saw this ring I knew I had to get it for my beautiful wife. I got so excited I had to tell my friends I was getting this for her, but one of them had the audacity to question whether or not my wife needed a 300,000 dollar ring and so I looked at my friend and said this "Is that so? You would scimp on a womans ring? Her new replacement ring? The kind of ring a woman who works in an office needs so she can feel like a woman again? What kind of man scimps on a womans ring? That's her womanhood you're scimping on. The very essence of her Femininity!". You see guys a womans ring is her equivalent of a guys man parts, if you buy her a 300,000 dollar ring it would be like if she bought you a new part for your body that was 12 inches and as thick as your wrist and everyone had to look at and feel inadequate next to it. When my wife walks into a room now with this ring she is the Alpha Woman, it doesn't matter if the other women are younger, weigh less, look prettier, are better educated or have higher IQ's when they see her ring it speaks to them and it says "I own this room, I own you!" and these women go home and feel insecure because of it. So do yourself a favor guys and buy your woman this ring, and also buy gold, put all your money into gold and those rare coins sold in infomercials on T.V.

"Romantic boat ride proposals= disaster!" 2010-03-09
By Sally Lou
So my boyfriend told me he had a great evening planned for us, and I just never thought he would propose. I really wasn't even thinking that would happen. He blindfolded me and walked me to the edge of a dock, and the reason I knew we were on a dock was twofold: A. it sounded like wood as I walked on it and B. I could smell rotting fish and the general odor of the creek near our trailer. He removed the blindfold, and to my surprise he had rigged the old canoe out back with Christmas lights and decorated it with ribbons and roses! However, I couldn't help thinking....how are those lights working? Oh well. I didn't care. So he helped me in the boat so I wouldn't rip my only dress. I bought that thing at J.C. Penney last year for $48.95...on sale! I couldn't afford to rip it on the canoe. So he rowed me out, and I was just nearly in tears. I mean, I knew something nice was planned because he told me to but on my dress...but this?! So he rowed us all the way down the creek until we got to the lake. It was such a romantic ride, almost like being in Venice! It was a long way to the lake so we counted the tires as we went! Well, he rowed me to the middle, and pulls out this ring! IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAKE! I was like OMG! I got so excited I jumped up and the canoe started rocking. Well, whaddya know. The ring fell in the water. I was devastated. He jumped in and tried to find it, but the only thing he came up with was a handful of what I really hope was mud and leaves. And would you believe Amazon won't give us a refund?! Oh well, I guess when we get our check next month we can just order a new one. I'm so excited, and I made him promise not to take me on any more amazing boat rides for the next one (as romantic as that ride was)! And, he thinks he might have a job at a really respected local restaurant..Shoneys. Can you say free food?! Life can't get any better!! Get this for the special woman in your life!

"Where are all the lemons???" 2010-03-09
By Felipe Cuevas
I bought this for my lady friend when she graduated cosmetology school with a gift card my grandma gave me for my birthday. I wanted to do something nice for her so i decided to give it to her at the Red Lobster. She opened it and was like "where are all the lemons?" NO LEMONS, NO FIVE STARS.

"Buyer beware! - I was enticed with the free shipping that knocked off $5.00" 2010-03-08
By Mark DeJarnatt (Seattle Wa)
I was skeptical of ordering a ring online, but was enticed with the $30,000 off. Then free shipping!!! That saved me an additional $5.00. Seeing that I purchased right away. I pulled out my capital one credit card, after thinking "Whats in your wallet!".

The overdraft fees once my credit card went over by $280,000 are a little steep. It also bumped up my interest rate going over that far. From 4% to 29.95%. My purchase has $90000 of interest per year. With my minimum payment of $8756 per month, I'll have it paid off in 938 years!

"Too inexpensive" 2010-03-05
By J. Whittle (Belleville, IL United States)
I would not buy this for my wife unless it was priced over $500K. At the current low price there just wouldn't be much bragging rights for her at the country club.
